Some of your responsibilities would include:

  • Routinely providing customer service via phone, email, and in person
  • Receiving, logging in, and managing samples
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, well-organized working environment
  • Reviewing laboratory chains of custody for accuracy
  • Preparing sample kits
  • Generating reports and invoices
  • Entering and reviewing data
  • Managing laboratory supplies inventory

All candidates for this position must have:

  • A good memory and a keen attention to detail (this is key, without this you will not succeed in this position)
  • An ability to multitask
  • A record of commitment and dependability
  • A flexible, enthusiastic, and self-motivated personality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and the ability to work as a member of a team
  • A strong command of the English language, both spoken and written
  • Strong computer skills, preferably Apple/Macs

Preferred candidates for this position will have:

  • Five years professional work experience, laboratory experience a plus
  • A college degree
  • Experience with customer service
  • Experience working for small businesses
