Understanding Your Lab Results
The results of your analytical testing will be delivered to you in a laboratory report. The report contains a few components: the laboratory results (example shown below), general information about each parameter in your report, and any chain of custody records.
The laboratory results page indicates the analysis performed, the result of the analysis, the recommended level for each contaminant, the date analyzed, and the analytical methods used.
The comments page included with your report provides useful information about each contaminant specific to your report, including possible source of the contaminant, associated health risks, and potential corrective actions.
