Understanding Your Lab Results
The results of your testing will be delivered to you in a lab report. The report will contain a few components: the lab results (example shown below), the results comments in drinking water reports, and any chain of custody records.
The lab results indicate the analysis performed, the result of the analysis, the recommended level for that contaminant, the date analyzed, the methods and references used.
Included with drinking water lab reports is a comments page that provides useful information about each contaminant.
